    The Jamun Tree, also known as the Java Plum or Black Plum, is a fruit tree native to the Indian subcontinent and Sri Lanka. With a lifespan of up to 100 years, this tree bears fruit that is highly prized for its unique flavor and numerous health benefits. 

    Blooming Period: With its shining crimson hue, the Jamun fruit, is a favorite in tropical and subtropical climates, thriving in both adverse soil and climate conditions.

    The fruit, however, is highly perishable and requires careful handling. It can only be stored for a few days under ordinary conditions, but pre-cooled fruits are packed in polythene bags and can be preserved for up to 3 weeks at low temperatures of 8 to 10°C and 85 to 90% relative humidity.

    Growth: To ensure optimal growth and yield potential, the Jamun tree requires daily watering, especially during flowering and fruit setting. Additionally, providing nutrition compost, fertilizers, and manures every week can further enhance plant growth and fruit quality.
