The foxtail palm is a very famous for being a  landscaping and avenue plant, but it can also be grown as a house plant. It is very low maintenance and has a straight trunk. It can grow upto 30 ft tall. the plant is said to grow around 1 feet every year and to reach its full mature height, it can take upto 20 years. 

They do the best in warm and humid climate. They need full to bright sun when put outdoors and need bright direct light when placed indoors. When the plants are young, they need more water and once they attain maturity, they can be watered less as they grow drought resistant.
