Lithops plants have two thick leaves that are fused together, creating a slit in the middle where a small, daisy-like flower can emerge. These leaves are usually flat and have a distinctive pattern and color that resembles the stones they are named after.

Light: Lithops prefer bright, indirect sunlight. They can also tolerate some direct sunlight, but be careful not to expose them to too much sun.

Water: Lithops are adapted to survive long periods of drought, so they require very little water. Water them sparingly, only when the soil is completely dry.

Soil: Lithops require well-draining soil that is sandy and gravelly. They do not do well in heavy, clay soils.
