Antirrhinum majus, the common snapdragon is a species of flowering plant belonging to the genus Antirrhinum. Snapdragons are mostly short-lived perennial plants, though some species are annuals.

Sunlight requirement:- Full sunlight (6-8 hours)

Watering: Overwatering should be avoided as this may cause rotting. The plant does not thrive well during the rains as a certain amount of dryness around the root region is preferred by the plant.

Soil - They will grow well in average soil. Soil should be well draining.

Planting And Care- If insect or disease problems occur, treat early with organic or chemical insect repellents and fungicide. Snapdragons are very hardy. They can withstand a heavy frost. So, if your plant is still blooming in the fall, do not be too quick to clean up the flower garden.
